Crash Landed April 20th 1945 - Severe head injuries

20th April 1945.
On the fourth operation which was attacking a gun position 4 miles North East of BOLOGNA, one of our pilots 1805420 Sgt. HYETT M.J. - was hit by light flak while straffing. He crash landed and was seen to be picked up by a Jeep. Enquiries were instituted as to his whereabouts, and as a result information was received that he was injured having sustained severe head injuries and had been admitted to 5 C.C.S.
