Yet another pilot of ours – 1624873. Sgt. DAWSON, J. – was hit by ack ack after bombing and straffing – though he managed to bring his aircraft back to base. He was O.K. despite the fact that on landing his aircraft went up onto its nose and swinging off the runway.
