Dear Sir,
From the research I have done on Patsy, who was my uncle I can confirm that he baled out of Spitfire Mk 1 K9992 on the 24th of May 1940. He also force landed K9875 on the 27th of May 1940, both in France. He was killed in a Mk II Hurricane Z2887, after a mid air collision with two other Hurricanes on the 20th of April 1941.
Would you have any more information on these aircraft? By the way I do not know his joining date. I put this date in so my entry would be accepted.
