Trained in Canada, overseas to England attached to Army Coop unit 1941 Ireland. Joined 92 RAF and sent to North Africa bringing the first Spitfires. Shot down near El Alamein in a Hawker Hurricane and taken prisoner. Sent to Stalag 8B and Marlag O until liberated by British in 1945. Returned to Canada living a full life, passing in 2014 at the age of 92.
