Squadron Leader Norman Alexander KEENE, DFC, CD

Enlisted in the RCAF September 1940.
Retired February 1968

S/L Keene completed two operational tours in Europe between September 1941 and March 1945. Overseas S\L KEENE flew 650 hours in Spitfires and 100 hours in Hurricanes. He was attached to 402, 411, 416 and 442 Squadrons while overseas.
Between his two operational tours he was posted to the Operational Training Unit, Bagotville, Quebec as Officer Commanding Air Firing Squadron.
After WWII Norman continued in the RCAF as a pilot until his retirement in1968.
