At the 9th of April, 1943, John McAndrew Brodie piloted this aircraft. He was victorious against one FW190 , 15 miles NW from Bizerta, Tunisia. This together with A.R. Miller, piloting Spitfire IX KN201 ( both were Canadians ) within 32 squadron RAF.
