Shot down and killed aged 24 years Monday 27/5/40 while in Spitfire L1003 ‘DW-J’. He was married to Muriel Madge London at Stoke Bishop, Gloc 11/11/39 and lived at Westbury-on-Trym. He is interred at Oostduinkerke Communal Cemetery, Kolksijde, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium Row E. Grave 111. Gravesend Airport Heritage Project
