James Edgar 'Johnnie' Johnson flew Spitfire R6611 (QJ-F) while with 616 Squadron and is known to have damaged a Messerschmitt Bf 110 on the 22 February 1941 while flying that machine.

Thanks, I add this information to the pilot's page (Johnson) so now the two link, the pilot profile, and, from that profile, all the aircraft (spitfires) he flew are linked to get the details like this page on service record for the aircraft. It's up to users to add aerial numbers to the pilot page, or, add a pilot.
