I very much assume it is from this aircraft, probably kept as a souvenir when scrapped in 1945. reply by: deejay Additional information 2024-02-05 13:23:09 Accident on Aril 12th 1945 most probably occurred at B.85 Schijndel airfield (as 341 squadron was operating from there at that time) GACB = Ground Accident (followed by category): Beyond repair on site, but repairable at a Maintenance Unit or at a contractor's works [shown as 'CB'] CE = Write-off/Lost [shown as 'CE'] The shown controller was acquired in the Netherlands in 2020. reply |
