RNDA 27-12-45 AAEE 9-51 to 11-51 Acc trls with light bomb carrier under fuselage for practice bombs 4x8.5lb 4x10lb 4x11lb or 4x25lb trls with 4ft diameter low-drag sleeve and 30ft banner net target drogues were positioned on runway approx 300ft ahead of aircraft facing t/off position with cable laid as elongated 'S'. Snatch speed was critical. Perf and cooling trls with drogues RAE 11-51 Launching bridge trls for steam catapult.
