RNDA 30-4-48 SM 30-4-48 VA Chilbolton 3-6-48 G87 install AAEE 5-49 with airship-type 90gal overload tank Release speed restricted to 300kts comparison trls with Sea Fury Mk X trls without tank 7-49 trls with 3in dia flare and explosive RP on zero length underwing rails. Flare heads were unreliable but explosive heads cleared up to a maximum release speed of 300kts.
