Eric J (Ginger) CARTER
One of my favourite stories, this 91 year old pilot was not allowed to sit in a Spitfire at a local museum (static display - not far from where he once flew). After hearing of the episode, he was invited to fly again, recently. Mr. Carter was part of a 38 member task force keeping the supply routes to Murmansk (Russia) open.
