Archie Ulry was a pilot from 1940 till Oct 24th, 1944 after flying an Oxford into power cables that crossed the River Ness just outside Inverness. He flew 21 combat missions in Spitfire Mk.V with 411 RACF Squadron. His brother Lloyd was KIA only 5 weeks beforehand while serving with the Loyal Edmonton Regiment Sept 18, during the Battle for Rimini.
Archie married a Scottish women named Nellie December 31st 1941 just a few months after arriving in the UK.
