15-Apr-45 POW (possibly MH549)
Immediately after bombing leader called up and said his temperatures were going off the clock. He then said his engine was getting hot and smoking. At 1955 hours he called up again and said that he had force landed.
Formation observed dust at M155644 where aircraft believed crash landed.
