On the 4th. The day after Lt. ""Bud"" Assad was posted missing, Lt. C.C. Hitchins was obliged to make a forced landing when his aircraft developed engine trouble, after attacking an enemy tank in the region of COTIGNOLA. ""Hitch"" was fortunate in that he was over our lines at the time, and was able to return to the Squadron the same evening.
