Michael is buried in Trowbridge cemetery where he had lived with his parents. His brother, Flying Officer Bernard Lawrence SIMS (Pilot RAFVR), was MIA 23 February 1945 flying a Spitfire Mk XI PR (photo recon type) on a PR mission over Udine out of Peretola. Probably crashed in Adriatic, reason not discovered by this writer and no info found for reason. These men were my mother's cousins; their mother's maiden name was May CARPENTER of a family of Trowbridge.
