276 Squadron pilot
KIA 1945-03-16 Beaufort VIII A9/625. (while serving with 100 RAAF squadron in Papua New Guinea)
After doing his 8 EFTS training in Australia, he moved to Canada to do his SFTS between May/August 1941.
He came to the UK in approx. September 1941 and was posted to 456 sqn at Valley.
On 1942-06-26 he was shot down attempting to intercept a Ju88 in Beaufighter IIF T3014.
He and his navigator were rescued by a High Speed Launch.
In June 1943 he moved to 276 ASR squadron at Harrowbeer until December 1943 when he returned to Australia.
He went on to lead 100 RAAF squadron at Tadji, Papua New Guinea until he was KIA 1945-03-16.
