Paul Dominic TULLY

Accident 1943-02-21 Spitfire BR386 (RAAF A58-22)

Engine cut out at 28000 feet and would not start again. Pilot endeavoured to force land but misjudged his approach at 600 feet and landed in trees on boundary of Strauss strip at right angle

Pilot, Sgt P.D.Tully Service Number 404998 slightly injured with abrasions and shock.
