KIA at 25th of September 1944., while attacking the road Vrgorac-Metković ( former Yugoslavia ).
His plane, Spitfire Vc EP309 of 352 RAF (Y) squadon crashed down ( because of heavy fog ) at Sveti Mihovil ( St. Michael ) mountain near Zavojane. His grave was at the mountain Sveti Mihovil, later on, in 1988., his remains were exhumated.
Nowdays, his grave is in Zavojane village near Vrgorac
