72 Squadron KIA on 29 Aug 1941 in the crash of Spitfire (P8713) near Zandvoorde Belgium. Buried Zantvoorde British Cemetery. DOB WAS 1917 BUT UNKINOWN MONTH AND DAY
P8713 is recorded in RAF records as being 72 Squadron, however an internet search also shows P8713 listed as PK-O shot down on same day but with Polish markings and pilot. Photo does not show number so inconclusive
