Served with 19 and 310 squadron
Spitfire Vb suffered engine failure on approach to RAF Ludham in Norfolk. The pilot survived but the aircraft was lost in Hickling Broad, Norfolk.
He was killed whilst attached to the 2nd Czechoslovak Parachute Regiment during the Slovakian uprising on the 09th November 1944.
