Flying Officer, 32 Squadron, Royal Air Force (Volunteer Reserve), No. 152263; born on 4th August 1923 in Willesden; son of Albert (a railway inspector) and Ethel Stringer, later of Wembley; attended Kilburn Grammar School 1935-36; died in the 4th American Field Hospital of septicaemia and pneumonia on 29th August 1944, aged 21; buried in Bari War Cemetery, Italy.
