I am interested in all things 154 and can be contacted on dgarrett46 at outlook dot com
Merlin Davies joined 154 as a Sgt in April 1942
He flew with 154 throughout 1942, including Hornchurch, and went with the squadron to North Africa in Nov 42
He was promoted to PO 13th July 42 (Gazetted 28th Aug)
Further promoted to FO in May 43
And to F/L 13th Jan 1944
Reverted to Southern Rhodesian Forces 6/10/45 (Gazetted 5/4/46)
Note that Initials on IWM photos are incorrect: CH7270 says "J" and 7271 says "F" ! Have advised IWM
