Merlin Davies joined 154 as a Sgt in late April 1942
He flew with 154 throughout 1942, including Hornchurch, and went with the squadron to North Africa in Nov 42
He was promoted to PO 13th July 42 (Gazetted 28th Aug)
Further promoted to FO in May 43
