Joined 154 as PO right at the end of their spell at Hornchurch, had one mission 27th Aug 42 before the squadron started preparations for Operation Torch
Promoted FO 1st Oct 1942
North African records v basic, but he flew with 154 Dec 42 - Feb 43 but then nothing further in ORB
Crashed on take-off at Tingley 5th Feb 43 in ER785, but was uninjured, and continued to fly through Feb
Last ORB entry 27th Feb in ER635
Buried at Enfidaville War Cemetery (Tunisia), headstone records date of death as 21st June 1943
