Henri "Kiki" Limet was a pupil at the Flying School (Aé Mil) in Belgium. After the German invasion, he relocated to France and, when France fell, to Oujda, Morocco. Ultimately, he escaped to Great Britain, where he arrived on July 17th 1940. Limet enlisted in the RAFVR (precise date tbc) and was sent for training. He was posted to 32 Sqn (26 July 1941), 234 Sqn (7 November 1941) and arrived at 350 Sqn on14 November 1941. The Squadron diary records the following:

16-18/11/1941 Further complement of pilots arrive from other Squadron's and OTU: J. Carlier (Fl/Co), J. Van Leerberghe, L. Peeters, J., R. Alexandre, L. Heimes, A. Custers, J. Hansez, H. Limet, A. Michiels, F. Venesoen, R. Schrobiltgen and
H. Van Moffaert

26/11/1942 L. Heimes is put on rest and leaves the Squadron for RAF Depot N°1. L. Limet leaves the Squadron for the sister Squadron, 349, that will be formed at Ikeja (Nigeria)

On 11 October 1942, he was posted to 171 Sqn (15 December 1942) and converted to the P-40. On 23January 1943, Limet was then posted to the newly-formed 349 (Belgian) Squadron, based at Ikeja (Nigeria). He was promoted F/Sgt on 11 October 1943.

On 28 April 1944, Limet's plane encountered a problem with fuel change-over during an escort mission of B-26's to Paris. He crash-landed west of the Seine and was taken prisoner. After the War he Joined Sabena.

Henri "Kiki" Limet died in a plane crash (SabenaDC-4 00-CBE) at Libenge (Former Belgian Congo) on May 13th 1946.
