KIA aged 27 years old. From CASPIR site to the right (link given):
"32 Squadron (Adeste Comites). Spiffire aircraft MA 808 was seen to crash north-east of Split, Yugoslavia after white smoke was seen from the underside of the aircraft. Flight Lieutenant McKay was not seen to bail out and went down with his aircraft."
The link to the right for Canadian National Archives gives considerable more information; letters, service records, operational details on crash, memorial, etc.
Clicking aircraft serial below also gives some detail on this incident.
A user (Miller) of this site who added the images to the right states:
"My dad Harold Miller was a pilot with 32 Squadron from 15 October 1943 to 30 November 1944. I have his logbook and this picture and my dad's notation as shown here are in it."
