Bernard Lawrence McMAHON, (J/6379) RCAF; age: 26

He was killed whilst flying in Spitfire VB, ER646 of No 92 Sqn, which was shot down by a Bf 109 over Pisida during an escort sortie. He is buried in Sfax War Cemetery

er646 was linked as Spitfire flown (out of 92 sqn) however, when I added this to this page, the crosslink to the er646 entry shows the date of loss as 1 day later in March. So either the aircraft database is incorrect, or, perhaps it was a different Spit?
