Robert Francis Thomas "Bob" Doe, DSO, DFC & Bar (10 March 1920 – 21 February 2010) was a flying ace of the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain (Hurricane and Spitfire) in the Second World War, and served with the Indian Air Force during the Burma campaign.
Because he is an ace and finished his career as wing commander, and survived until 2010 -- there is ample information on Bob, including a detailed Wikipedia account linked on the right of this text, along with youtube video. Relatives are encouraged to post any images they may have from Bob's pre-war, war, and post-war years.
His post service years involved operating a garage (auto-service), and he penned a book, "Bob Doe – Fighter Pilot."
