Victor Lowson joined 54 Squadron RAF on 6th October 1940, he was posted to 65 Squadron RAF on 11th October 1940

He was killed whilst flying in Spitfire VB, AR388 of No 65 Sqn, which crashed into the sea after being hit by flak on a mass Rhubarb. He is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
