Prior to the Nazi invasion, Dehasse was a Captain at the Etablissements d'Aéronautiques, Servicede Controle d'Usines, Aéronautique Militaire Belge. He escaped from Belgium on 21 July 1941 and arrived in the UK on 4 January 1942, where he enrolled as P/O into RAFVR, Belgian Section, on 13 March 1942. He undertook a refresher course at 58 OTU on 5 May 1942 and was posted to 350 (BE) Sqn, on 7 July 1942. Dehasse was then transferred to 91 Sqn (22 March 1943).
On 24 March, 1943, he was killed flying Spitfire W3425; shot down by FW-190 (5./JG26).
