Killed Jan 21/43 age 22. #411 Grizzly Bear Squadron (Inimicus Inimico). WO McMillam was killed when his Spitfire aircraft #AA 754 collided with a Lysander aircraft and crashed in the sea 100 yards off shore two miles south of Skegness, Lincolnshire. WO McMillan had been slightly injured on October 27, 1942 when he landed his #411 Squadron Spitfire aircraft with the wheels retracted. Warrant Officer Class II Pilot McMillan is buried in the Scopwick Church Burial Ground, Scopwick, Lincolnshire, England.
