K9828 along with R6626, R7146 and X4847 were shipped to Portugal in late 1942 arriving in Lisbonne on the SS R734 Empire Rhodes on 29th August 1942.
They were assigned the following markings. 380 XZ-L, 381 XZ-M, 382 XZ-N and 383 XZ-O.
It is believed that X4847 was assigned 382 XZ-N but the allocation of 380, 381 and 383 can not be confirmed to the remaining 3 airframes.
