Whilst flying with 145 Sqn, Desert Air Force, F/Sgt LAMBERT (aged 20-years) was involved in an operation to strafe enemy gun positions. His loss was noted in the flying logbook of F/Sgt B.C. BRITTON (who also noted "intense L.A.A.").
